About Our Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism develop communication, social, and daily living skills. ABA focuses on teaching skills step-by-step while encouraging positive behaviors and helping children build confidence and independence.
Center-based ABA therapy takes place in a structured clinical environment designed specifically for learning and development. At Autism Centers of Utah, children work with trained clinicians in therapy rooms designed for skill-building, play, communication, and social interaction.
Comprehensive ABA therapy is an intensive program that typically involves 30 or more hours of therapy each week. These programs focus on multiple areas of development including communication, social skills, behavior regulation, and daily living skills.
Our program primarily serves children between the ages of 2 and 12. In some cases, exceptions may be considered depending on the individual needs of the child.

Getting Started
The first step is scheduling a welcome call or center tour. During this conversation we will learn about your child, answer your questions, discuss insurance, and explain the next steps for beginning services.
Your first visit is an opportunity for us to get to know your child and your family. During the visit we may review evaluations, discuss your child's strengths and needs, explain how our program works, and talk about next steps.
If your child has already received an autism diagnosis, bringing that documentation can help us move forward more quickly with services. If your child has not yet been diagnosed, our team can help guide you through the next steps and determine what assessments may be appropriate.
In some cases we may be able to conduct an ADOS assessment to help families who are seeking an autism diagnosis. If a more comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is needed, we can help guide families toward appropriate specialists.
The timeline for starting therapy depends on several factors including insurance authorization, clinical assessments, and scheduling availability. Our team works to help families begin services as soon as possible once the intake process is complete.
