Comprehensive ABA Programs

Comprehensive ABA therapy is an intensive program that typically involves 30 or more hours of therapy each week and supports multiple areas of development.

ABA therapy at Autism Centers of Utah is supported by Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Feeding Therapy, all available at our Sandy, Utah center. This collaborative approach means therapists communicate and work together to support your child's overall progress.

Insurance and Payment Options

Autism Centers of Utah is currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Utah Medicaid.

Our team is happy to help families explore coverage options and determine whether services may be available through a single-case agreement or out-of-network arrangement when needed.

At this time we are unable to work with Tricare.

ABA Therapy FAQs

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that uses positive reinforcement to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. It is widely recognized as the gold standard treatment for autism spectrum disorder.

The recommended hours vary based on your child's individual needs and goals. After assessment, our BCBAs will recommend a treatment plan, which typically ranges from 10 to 40 hours per week depending on age, severity, and family circumstances.

Our program primarily serves children ages 2–12, with exceptions considered depending on individual needs. Early intervention supports the best outcomes, and our team will help determine whether our program is the right fit for your child.

A BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) is a master's-level clinician who designs treatment plans, conducts assessments, and supervises therapy. An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) delivers direct therapy under BCBA supervision. Both work together to support your child's progress.
